Punisher

A lot has happened for Phoebe Bridgers since her 2017 debut, Stranger in the Alps: she toured like crazy and released albums with Conor Oberst (as Better Oblivion Community Center) and Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker (boygenius). She's back to her own grind with Punisher, an album that is so widescreen, it starts with a tongue-in-cheek DVD menu screen sound, and has horns, and backing choruses, and big feelings and big guitars and... well, you get the idea.
